Our family business was started as Lincoln Marina in 1988 and was originally based alongside Brayford Pool in Lincoln. However, the business outgrew the facilities there and we moved to a new marina development at Burton Waters on the outskirts of Lincoln, and into new large purpose built buildings. Our facilities here at Burton Waters include a sales suite alongside the Marina and large workshops facilities, which include boat repairs, joinery, electronics and engineering.
Initially beginning as a boat repair business, and after a successful boatbuilding operation which began in 1993 having built and marketed over 60 of our Eagle 525s (a high quality trailer sailer). The company rapidly expanded into marine retail and now stands as one of the leading individual chandlery's in the country. Over the years Morton Boats has built up a very loyal customer base.
